Ⅰ. Customer demand confirmation
1. Is PP or PC better for product material?
Our answer: Recommendation: PP Material is Superior for Your Needs
1）Better Heat Resistance for Middle Eastern Climate
PP: Withstands temperatures from -10°C to 100°C (short-term up to 120°C), making it ideal for hot environments (e.g., outdoor storage or transportation).
PC: While PC has higher heat resistance (up to 135°C), prolonged UV exposure can cause yellowing and brittleness unless expensive UV stabilizers are added.
2）Superior Chemical Resistance
PP: Highly resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and cleaning agents (common in household and industrial use).
PC: Vulnerable to strong alkalis (e.g., bleach) and some oils, which may cause stress cracking over time.
3）Lightweight & Cost-Effective
PP is ~25% lighter (0.9 g/cm³ vs. PC’s 1.2 g/cm³), reducing shipping costs—critical for bulk orders.
More affordable: PP typically costs 30-50% less than PC, offering better value without sacrificing performance.
4）Food Safety & Compliance
PP: Naturally BPA-free, complies with FDA, EU 10/2011, and Halal certifications—ideal for food containers, kitchenware, or child-safe products.
PC: May require “BPA-Free” certification, which adds complexity and cost.
5）Impact Resistance (Customizable)
Standard PP suits most applications, but impact-modified PP (e.g., PP copolymer) can match PC’s durability for rugged use.
PC becomes brittle under prolonged UV exposure (common in desert climates).
6）Eco-Friendly & Recyclable
PP: 100% recyclable and emits no toxic fumes when incinerated—aligns with growing sustainability demands in the Middle East.
PC: Recycling is complex, and burning releases harmful compounds.
2. What process is used to produce the plastic shell? Injection molding or painting on the surface after injection molding?
Our answer: it is recommended to directly inject the surface of the plastic shell with skin texture, and painting will increase the production process and cost.
3. The product should meet the local safety requirements. What is the size of the cable?
Our answer: According to the specific application scenario, we provide four cable diameter specifications for selection:
-3×0.75mm²: Suitable for ordinary household environment, the maximum load power can reach 2200W
-3×1.0mm²: Recommended configuration for commercial office, supporting continuous power output of 2500W
-3×1.25mm²: Suitable for small industrial equipment, carrying capacity up to 3250W
-3×1.5mm²: Professional-grade configuration, can cope with 4000W high load requirements
Each specification uses high purity copper core and double insulation skin to ensure low temperature operation even when working at high current.
4. About plug compatibility: There are multiple plug standards in the Middle East market. Does your universal jack really fit all the common plugs?
Our answer: Our universal socket supports various plugs such as British, Indian, European, American and Australian standards. It has been strictly tested to ensure stable contact. We recommend customers to choose British plug (BS 1363) as the standard, because the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other major markets adopt this standard.
5. About USB charging: Does Type-C port support PD fast charging? What is the output power of USB A port?
Our answer: The Type-C port supports PD fast charging protocol with a maximum output of 20W (5V/3A, 9V/2.22A, 12V/1.67A). The USB A port supports QC3.0 18W (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A) fast charging. When two or more ports are used simultaneously, the total output is 5V/3A.
6. About overload protection: what is the specific triggering mechanism? Can it be automatically restored after power failure?
Our answer: 16A recoverable circuit breaker is adopted, which will automatically cut off power when overloaded and manually reset after cooling (press the switch to restore). It is recommended that customers choose 3×1.5mm² power line in warehouses or high-power environments to ensure safety.
7. About packaging: Can you provide bilingual packaging in Arabic + English? Can you customize the color of packaging?
Our answer: We can provide bilingual packaging in Arabic and English, which complies with the regulations of the Middle East market. The packaging color can be customized (such as business black, ivory white, industrial gray), and the single-serve packaging can be added with the company LOGO. For more details on the design of content patterns, please communicate with our packaging designer.
Ⅱ. Our proposal and optimization plan
We propose that:
1.Optimize USB charging layout (avoid equipment shielding):
-Move the USB module to the front side of the power strip to avoid affecting the use of USB when large plugs occupy space.
-Customer feedback: Agree to the adjustment and require that Type-C port still support fast charging.
2. Packaging optimization (improve shelf appeal):
-Adopt transparent window design, so that consumers can directly see the appearance of products.
-Customer request: Add a multi-scenario logo “for home/office/warehouse”.
3. Certification and compliance (ensuring market access):
-The product shall be certified by GCC standard and ESMA standard.
-Customer confirmation: Local laboratory testing has been arranged and certification is expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
III. Final conclusions and action plan
Adopted the following decisions:
1. Product specification confirmation:
-6 universal jack + 2USB A + 2Type-C (PD fast charge) + overload protection + power indicator.
-The power cord is 3×1.0mm² by default (office/home), and 3×1.5mm² can be selected in the warehouse.
-The plug is default British standard (BS 1363) and optional printing standard (IS 1293).
2. Packaging plan:
-Arabic + English bilingual packaging, transparent window design.
-Color selection: 50% business black (office), 30% ivory white (home) and 20% industrial gray (warehouse) for the first batch of orders.
3. Certification and testing:
-We provide ESMA certification support and the customer is responsible for local market access audit.
4. Delivery time:
-The first batch of samples will be delivered to customers for testing before August 30.
-Mass production order started on September 15th, and delivery will be completed before October 10th.
5. Follow-up:
-The customer will confirm the final order details after the sample test.
-We provide 1 year warranty, and the customer is responsible for local after-sales support.
Ⅳ. Concluding remarks
This meeting clarified the core needs of the customer and put forward optimization plans according to the particularity of the Middle East market. The customer expressed satisfaction with our technical support and customization ability, and both sides reached an agreement on product specifications, packaging design, certification requirements and delivery plan.
Next steps:
-Our team will provide 3D design drawings for customers to confirm before July 25.
-The customer shall give feedback on the test results within 5 working days after receiving the sample.
-Both parties keep weekly progress updates to ensure timely delivery of the project.
